Late Regency mahogany carver armchair

Offered for sale is a late Regency mahogany carver armchair dating circa 1820. The back consists of a panelled top rail, a rope twist mid rail and reeded uprights. The reeded downswept arms have scroll terminals that rest on vase turned supports. The seat is flat fronted and is raised on ring turned forelegs and swept back legs. The seat is fully newly traditionally re-upholstered from frame with hand stitched edges. It is finished off in very luxurious embossed Sandringham fabric by JAB Anstoetz. This chair would make an ideal desk chair or an occasional chair. Note that colours on screen may differ slightly from the actual colours.

Condition: Good solid condition, minor knocks and dents commensurate with age and use over the years, structurally sound.
