Victorian gent's easy open armchair

Offered here for sale is an exceptional gent's armchair with moulded show wood mahogany frame. There is scroll carved cresting to the waisted back. The shaped open arms with elbow upholstered pads, rest on scroll supports with foliage carving. The serpentine fronted seat bears a carved apron with scrolling motif. The seat is raised on leaf capped moulded cabriole front supports with later inserted white pot castors. This chair of generous proportions has been fully traditionally re-upholstered from frame by The Sitting Place® with hand stitched back with lumbar support and firm sprung seat. The chair is finished in Merlot Sandringham wildberry fabric by Jim Dickens. This gents chair would look great in a home library, study or lounge. Note that colours on screen may differ slightly from the actual colours.
